Assessment is completed in your home at a time that is convenient for you and your family. The assessment involves a short interview with a parent, and assessment activities that are completed with the child. This initial visit takes about 1 hour. Assessment activities and tools vary depending on the child’s needs. Following completion of the assessment, your child’s strengths and weaknesses will be reviewed and recommendations will be provided. Families are able to identify and prioritize therapy goals. Formal written reports are available, but are not a mandatory part of the assessment process.
